APC Back-UPS 650VA, 230V, AVR, Universal Sockets constant beeping but stops after reboot.

As the title says my UPS (BX650LI-MS) suddenly starts a long beep with the green light going on and off and in my panic i shut down my PC and turned my UPS off but after a minute or two i opened my UPS again and its not beeping anymore.

This is the first time this happened, is this a symptom for a dying battery or something worse?
