Hi,
Recently my existing APC BR1500G ups started giving F02 error. APC technician told me that the battery is fine but the UPS board had failed. They are asking me to spend Rs 8K to fix the model.
i am considering buying a newer and higher capacity model instead.
I checked online and saw this international model BR1500MS2 which looks like a newer version of BR1500G.
I am unable to find this model in India.
Is there any way to get this model in india or any alternate recent version available in india?
Thanks
Ravi

If I am not mistaken BR1500MS2 is only released in North America as it only supports 120V 60Hz compared to India that uses 230V 50Hz.
You can check the APC India website for the available offers in your country. Here are for the Back UPS Pro: https://www.apc.com/in/en/product-range/61888-backups-pro/?parent-subcategory-id=88975

Thanks for the response. I did check it already, I dont see any newer models in the indian website. Somehow they are still selling the same model that I bought many years back.
Another issue is the disposal of the current UPS I have. I contacted them many times to check if they have some disposal mechanism, they always tell me that they will send some engineer for some charge. As if the engineer is going to dispose it right away.
