750XL faulty transformer?
I have purchased an second hand 220v 750XL that included a spare. After replacing the battery the first unit powers up and charges and works as expected, however the second unit appears faulty where it won't hold charge even with the same battery and gives me 3-4 mins with a 2A load from an old HP Server.
I also installed a AP9619 NMC and am able to run a calibration and self test. The calibration fails even with fully charged batteries as soon as it goes off mains power the capacity drops from 100% to 4%. It also complains that "UPS: The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately."
This doesn't happen with the working unit and the calibration takes about 50 mins to drain from 100% to 25% and recharge on the same battery.
The unit to me seems completely broken and I am not sure if there is anything I can do as there doesn't seem to be any options for repair and the only option I have is throwing it in the trash or taking it to the eRecyclers?
