700LS vs 800RS

I am debating between the 700LS and 800RS UPs. Aside from the obvious difference in VA, the 800 seems to have more battery reserve but the 700 has a higher joule rating on surge protection. Both claim AVR, but is the RS series better at AVR? The LS is more expensive by a few dollars.
