2 Back UPS ES 500 with different issues

First one: Turn on, get green on light then you hear random click like a circuit opening and closing

Second One: Turn on and the green light just blinks

Any thoughts please?

Regarding the first unit issue, please make sure that the input power to the unit is normal. The relay inside the UPS may be audible in some environment when it transfers from on line to on battery or on battery to online. Is the UPS providing the power to the connected equipment when it is making clicking sound? If possible, could you please adjust the UPS sensitivity to Low and check if it helps?
How old Is this unit?

I would like to gather some more information regarding the second UPS issue. Could you please let me know the exact Model and Serial number of the UPS? you can find these details on a white bar code sticker at the bottom of the unit. The reason I am asking the exact model and serial number of UPS is to find the status of the unit. Is the UPS beeping constantly when the green light is blinking?

sir i have a problem also about that clicking sound of my ups and i saw your post. You said that try to adjust the sensitivity and i dont know how to adjust it

Hi Jurome,

Can you tell us the exact model number of your UPS? Also, if you can install the APC PowerChute Software and the UPS can be connected to a PC via the USB cable the software can be used to adjust the sensitivity.

i also have the problem of the constant beeping sound that i cant get to keep quiet. how do i make it silent and also stop the blinking green. the model is BE 500R-AS and the serial number is 5B0819T19262. please get back ASAP. thanks
