The user manual for PowerChute Personal Edition doesn't explain how to configure how long to let the system run on battery before shutting down. What attributes are configurable with the software?
The installer leaves out a couple functions that other vendor software normally does:
1. create a shortcut for the software.
2. create an entry in the control panel Programs and Features.
This is on Windows 10.
Of course, the user is able to do those function on their own, but just saying...
Thanks. Phil.

Hello,
What version of PowerChute Personal Edition are you installing? The latest is version 3.0.2 and it will put entries in the system tray, in the start menu, and it does put an entry in program and features.
As for running on battery thet is listed under the heading of Configuration - Runtime. The options are Preserve battery power or Keep my computer on as long as possible.
