World Wide Power Conditioning
We are putting together a small rack to be shipped all over the world for training, demos, etc. The rack will contain a multi-node server, a couple of switches and an array of SSDs.
We are pretty sure that the power will not be the greatest in many of the areas we will be visiting so we wanted to get a power conditioner to protect our gear. We do necessarily need a UPS, but if we need up with one, smaller/lighter would be better.
I wasn't able to find anything that did both 120 and 208, so I would guess we will need to go with 208, but we are still having issues finding something that fits our needs. We thought we might be able to find adapter plugs to convert from a NEMA6-20/30 to something local, but that hasn't gone very well either.
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? We are a bunch of computer nerds and we need the help of a power geek!
Any help or nudging the in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
