They are both 192v so I would think so, but would like to confirm with the experts. I have an opportunity to acquire a cheap SRT192RMBP2 after recently acquiring a SURT6000XLT-1TF3 but want to ensure that it will function ok as a battery pack for extended runtime. Thanks

For the benefit of others who may be considering doing something like this. Here are some things to keep in mind if caution is being cast to the wind. As this is obviously not endorsed, recommended, or supported by APC.
1. Connector: The plug that inserts into the main system will be different and thus you would need to find the same. The factory SRT cable is encased with several ferrites to reduce EMI / RFI and to meet emissions so do not remove them. It will probably be easier to make an adaptor cord set to mesh the two together so it leaves the SRT intacted.
2. ID: Newer APC models use a combination of resistance and IC's to tell the main system an extended battery pack is present and the quantity. You will need to determine if this is a simple circuit using resistors vs a more complex one which incorporates both. You can obviously open the SRT to review the PCB inside to see what is being used but you would need to know what (is / was) being used in the SURT model.
Older APC UPS simply had you tell the main system how many extended battery packs were present either through the main LCD Menu or via Power Chute software / NMC.
Good luck and let us know how that turned out . . .

Thanks for the information. I never tried it because I was waiting for a response before proceeding and will not be attempting this.
