BX500MI
I have a MicroServer Gen 10 plus v2 running from a Back-Ups BX500MI which is more than adequate to power it. The UPS is connected by a USB lead to the server. Running it with the default power management client works but as little more than a backup battery. Power Chute Personal Edition discloses itself as inappropriate for a server and Power Chute Serial Shutdown, designed to work with computers connected by USB or serial cable, gets really confused when connected to my server.
As of today 26 February 2024 PowerChute Serial Shutdown is only compatible with Windows OS. If the MicroServer Gen 10 is not running a compatible OS version the software is not supported and may not function properly. The PowerChute Serial Shutdown compatibility chart will be found at the link below.
