I just updated the firmware of my AP9617 Network Management Card (NMC) to Version 3.9.3, the latest and last firmware—the product is obsolete.
I am trying to get apcupsd running on my router to communicate with the UPS via pcnet. With the new Version 3.9.3 GUI, where do I set the admin passphrase?
The only thing I can do here is update my password. No mention of a passphrase.

I don’t know, what it says about me, but half of the question I pose to user fora, I end up answering myself:
I was able to change the passphrase by connecting to the NMC via telnet. The menu sequence was this:
3- System
1- User Manager
1- Administrator
Provide admin password again.
Skip entering new admin name.
Skip entering new admin password.
Enter new passphrase twice.
4- Accept Changes
Hit Escape until you hit the main menu.
4- Logout
