UPS having power issue which is affecting multiple servers.
Hello,
We had a power issue last night, and all our servers were affected with no power outage. The servers are only connected with UPS. According to the Dell EMC PowerVault Manager, there are some logs showing that the controller was disconnected at 11:15 pm. We don't have a web portal configured on this APC UPS. Is there a way we can get the logs from this device?

Since you did not provide the specific APC UPS. My reply will be over generalized to cover as many possibilities.
Logs: If the ups has a LCD you may view the logs there. If the unit is connected to a computer running the APC Power Chute software it will provide both the event and data logs.
If your unit has an embedded or add on NMC. You can login to the web server and view / download both event & data logs.
Power: The possibilities range from the battery is end of life. They are rated to provide 2-5 years of service life based on usage, temperature, and environmental conditions.
Both the APC Power Chute Software and NMC will indicate the last battery change. If the unit has an LCD it will also indicate the battery installation date.
Load Shed / Graceful Shutdown: If the unit is connected to PCBE / PCSS software this may be the reason the servers shutdown.
If you have programmed your unit to load shed based on the operational runtime available this too is something you need to validate.
Syslog / NMS: If the system is connected and monitored by either / both you’ll have a better idea as to why the UPS turned off as the historic tracking of the SNMP traps & Syslogs would show this.
Lastly, if the unit has a NMC and email notification was set up. You can easily see why the system shutdown. If your facility or building has any sort of monthly lights out test for generator testing.
Verify with the facility management as to (IF) such a test was performed. 👍
