Hello All,
I need to develop a replacement plan for our server UPS's. Does anyone know where I can find a best practice document on replacement? I would also appreciate knowing what others do in their company. Specifically I would like to know how long it is recommended to keep a UPS in service and how often batteries should be changed.
I am currently budgeting for 2011. We always have in the budget the funds to replace any failed UPS's but ideally, we should have a replacement schedule for our UPS's to avoid having them go down (although our UPS's are redundant :).
Thanks for any advice/help!
Daniel

well, from an APC standpoint, our UPSs, in general, are designed around a 10 year life cycle.
