I just received a Symmetra PX (SY48K48H-PD) and PX48 Battery Frame (SYCFXR48) to install in our server room, that were removed from one our other locations.
The guys moving this, pulled out all the batteries and power & switch modules etc, then just cut all the cables, before locking all the panels and doors - and then managed to lose the keys...
So now I have the two PX units, a bunch of stuff, and no way to open the doors to start putting it back together, because apparently the Symmetra PX key is different to the standard APC key used on all our other Rack & CRAC units.
I have looked high & low on the APC site but can't find a reference to replacement keys for the Symmetra PX
Can anyone tell me the part number and where/how to get them...

Problem solved.
What I ended up doing was pulling out the tumbler from the door handle of one of our SX racks, so I understood the pins.
Then, using a modified rack-nut tool to tension the tumbler of the PX's front door latch, I then raked the 5 pins of the tumbler with a jeweller's screwdriver until I eventually got it to open.
Now everyone looks at me sideways, as if I must have a criminal past, but I just looked up "how to pick a lock" on YouTube, and I'm sure it took me much longer than any self-respecting thief (or Macgyver) would have taken.
Anyways, once open, I was able to remove the tumbler from the handle. I already knew it used an EMKA EK-333 series key (stamped on the SX keys) so armed with that info and the tumbler, I went off to my local locksmith and got a couple of keys cut.
$10 later, all the locks are open and I can resume installing these units.
