Switched Rack PDU - AP7953
I have a question with regards to the AP7953 switched rack PDU.
I have set up power on delay times to alleviate our facilities teams worries with regards to start-up current .I have also set the cold start up delay time to 10 seconds and have tested the unit and it functions as expected.
However, part of the other reason for buying this was the ability to control the status of the sockets. So when we first install a PDU we will switch off all the sockets. Then we will put them on one by one as we add hardware. This ensures staff can't install kit without going through us first.
I tested this by leaving a couple of sockets on and switching the rest off. I then switched the PDU off and back on. When it came back on it switched on all the sockets after their time delay.
I was hoping it would only switch on the sockets that were on before it was power cycled.
Is there anyway of doing this?

Great, glad the option isn't missing - that could be considerably more difficult to troubleshoot! No worries on overlooking the option, there are a lot of options & settings so it can be a little overwhelming sometimes. 🙂
Have a good weekend!

Thats exactly what I was looking for. Have tested and works as expected.
Thought their must be a way of doing this but just overlooked that option within that menu!
