I have some problem by configure radius templates for AP7920 PDUs.
what works is :
Authenticate Admin with APC-Service-Type (ID = 1; Typ =integer)=1
Authenticate Device with APC-Service-Type=2
Authenticate ReadOnly with APC-Service-Type=3
But what for parameter must be set, to limit the switched ports for different users with rights "device" ?
The manual and the knowledgebase are very incomplete ...
Thanks for all information

hi
only "outlet" users can have access to different switched ports, not device or read only. i am not sure how to do it on Windows 2003 but we have this knowledgebase that seems the most helpful to explain outlet users (on FreeRadius) -> http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8012
there is a service type of outlet, which may be "4" then you need to indicate which outlets you want the outlet user to have access to like "1, 2, 5" somehow.
i hope that helps..
