SmartUps 1400 network card error

My network card is reporting that the application does not support my Smart-UPS SU1400RM2U.

The AOS and App are:
Network Management Card AOS v3.6.1
Smart-UPS & Matrix-UPS APP v3.5.8

I noticed that the 1400 units are no longer listed on the APC products listing. Do I need a legacy app for it, and if so, does anyone know where I can download it, because I don't know where the disks are.

yeah either one. we will need to determine if its the card or the slot on the UPS. so another card in the UPS slot will be a good idea too.

let me know what you find out.

can you provide us with the model of the network management card?

did you recently install this to the UPS? did it come from a different UPS?

The management card is an AP9617. It did come from another device but I reset it to the defaults before configuring it.
Here's what I did as best as I can recall:
Installed the management card
Reset it to defaults
Configured IP
Logged on through web and telnet
At this point the management card was reporting that the UPS was not supported so I read the forums a little and though that it was either the wrong or a corrupt app so I flashed the latest one. Since then I've reset the management card to the defaults, with the exception of TCP/IP and it still reports that the UPS isn't supported. Hope that's what you needed, and thank you for the help.

is it possible to put it back into the other UPS to see if it works in there?

you definitely have the right firmware on it for an AP9617. it needs to be an APP of 'sumx' which is what you have.

by any chance, can you get a screenshot of what you see so I can make sure it is what I am thinking of?

It would not be possible to put it back into the one it came out of as I have no idea which one that is. I'm not in my office anymore today but I can get you one tomorrow morning when I first get in. If you think that it might be a problem with the management card I can try putting a different card in it.

I have a feeling it is just a bad card slot inside the UPS, as I tried several different AP9617's in it and it was still giving me the same error, even though they were all working in a newer unit. I replaced the unit with the new one so I guess the problem is solved. Thank you very much for the help.
