Hello,
we have the following setup:
Two server rooms equally equipped. One Smart-UPS SRT 6000 connected with the "hardwired output" to a Service Bypass Panel. The electric load is connected to that SBP.
Part of the load is a vSphere cluster. I have installed the PCNS applicance to shutdown down the environment in a critical situation.
I am confused how to configure the systems. The UPS has 3 outlet groups and a main outlet group. Not a single load is directly connected to the UPS. Can i ignore the settings of the outlet groups as we use the "hardwired output"?
I have attached a screenshot from the PCNS Appliance. Is it correct to attach the ESXi-Hosts to the "unswitched group" because they are connected to the "hardwired output"?
Thanks for your help
Kaspar

Hello Gavan,
thanks for your response 🙂
We are aware that we have to test it but now I am more confident that it will work as planned.
Kind Regards

Looks good to me but I do recommend scheduling a test to ensure it works as it should.
