Smart-UPS SRT 2200 - Battery life exceeded
Hi,
the following message "Battery life exceeded. Order replacement battery" appears in UPS Network Management. the battery was replaced 3 months ago. There was a wrong battery replacement date in the battery info and I changed it correctly but the next replacement date is 2020. And I still see the "Battery Life Exceeded" alarm. Self-test passed.
What date is displayed on the UPS LCD panel? It is found under the About menu. If the date is incorrect, disconnect the battery. Wait until the LCD reports battery removed, and reconnect the battery. You will be asked if this is a new battery, and you can then update the install date using the LCD panel. If it is correct, try the step anyway to see if the date will update correctly.
