Hi,
3 days after reseting and setting up NMC3 , web UI displayed a Critical Alarm Present "The battery is not installed properly"
NMC is updated to latest firmware.
Does the battery need to be replaced ?
Could il be a failed NMC3 ?

Typically this means that you have a battery going bad. You will need to replace all the batteries in the unit as when one goes bad it drags the others down, and more than likley they were all installed at the same time as well. Meaning that they will all go bad shortly.
APC does not really do a a good job at reporting batter issues. Typically the one you describe, bad battery, or repeated battery disconnected alerts all mean a battery is failing. It is not a card issue.

I ordered a new battery and replace the failed one. => problem solved
battery were supposed to live 4 years, not 2 years.
