Looking to buy sum SX (AR3100) racks. The manual states "Warning: The enclosure cannot be stabilized using the bolt-down bracket or stabilization plate if the casters or leveling feet are removed". I just want to take off the caster and leveling feet and bolt it directly to the floor. Is this possible?

APC does not support the loss of stabilization created by removing the casters & leveling feet, but it is technically feasible to remove them and bolt the rack to the floor directly using your own kit, or preferably, the APC stabilization kits listed in the manual. If the rack suffers damage or there is a load stability issue suffered due to removing the leveling feet or casters, then APC reserves the right not to honor claims or complaints based on this fact.
