SUPVTP15KH4B4S with AP9631 Extend Cable Length

Hi,

We have a SUPVTP15KH4B4S with AP9631 and would like to move the UPS to a new location, the question is, is there anyway to extend the length of the cable that goes from the network management card to the temperature sensor? Currently its long enough to monitor the temperature in our server room, with the UPS sited outside, but the new location, it will be even further away so will need to be longer.

Is this the correct way to do it? Or is there another product that is required to monitor the temperature within the room that can allow an automatic shutdown of the equipment in the room if the temperature gets to high because of an air-conditioning failure?

AP9631 supports AP9335T/TH. It comes with AP9335T.
