Hi all, new user here with a question about some new units recently installed.
I work for a local school district and we recently installed three new RM2200 UPS units. I don't have the exact model number here today, but they are the 2U rack mounts w/120VAC 20A plugs. Perhaps they are 2000 and not 2200. We do have some older 2200 3U's that are working fine.
Since the new units have been installed, (about 5-6 weeks ago) we have experienced a few power outages, and in every case, the units failed to return to utility power after it was restored. The batteries had been completely drained during the outages.
Once I arrived at the sites and pushed the "On/Test" button, they started up and functioned normally. Yesterday, these sites experienced another outage lasting 3-4 hours, and although I won't have physical access to the sites until tomorrow AM, I am assuming the same thing has happened as the servers that have not come back up are all connected to these units.
Is there a setting that determines whether the units will automatically power up after an outage?
