I have an AP9301 that I am trying to configure SSH access to the serial ports rather than Telnet. I assumed I could just change the setting to "console (SSH)" and the SSH to port 7001. However I am getting "connection refused by host". I am using Secure CRT. Telnet access works fine.
Thanks for the help
Jason

i dont know much about this unit personally but i attached the online guide incase we do need it.
refer to PDF page 253 and i think it has some information on where you set this up where we should double check its set up properly. anyway, if i understand you correctly, it sounds like its probably correct - when you do telnet

Thanks for the response. Telnet to port 7001 works just fine, however SSH to port 7001 did not work. Here is how I finally figured got it to work. "ssh -l admin:ttyS1 192.168.10.51" On page 10 of the command reference the documentation says "TCP port or the alias for the server connected to that serial port". Now I can SSH to the serial ports. Hope this helps somebody in the future.
