SRT10KRMXLI Max power draw per outlet group

Hello everyone,

we have multiple SRT10KRMXLI, these units have multiple outlet groups including two groups with two c19 receptacles each.

These groups are labeled as „group1 16 amps max“ and „group2 16 amps max“.

Unfortunately it is entirely unclear and documented nowhere in any manual I could find, if that is 16 amps max for the whole group or 16 amps max per c19 receptacle(allowing for 32A power draw from a single group).

The latter would be perfectly reasonable because c19 receptacles are rated for 16A 230V and the former could become quite problematic because it would require carefully balancing the powerdraw for each outlet group and this should be clearly documented.

(please do not respond with assumptions, this needs a clear statement from apc, since it could lead to major issues if an outlet group were to unexpectedly shut down because of an overload)

Hello,

The Nominal full current to the load is 47 A for this UPS. the output receptacles is split into switched outlet groups (SOG).two SOG 16 A and one SOG 10 A, this SOG ampere represents the maximum  current at which this SOG provide ,it is not representing the ampere for each power outlet in  the group

so to summarize the total ampere that is provided by three SOGs is 42 A ,they are split as 2 SOG 16 A and one SOG 10 A for entire SOG and not each of the power  outlet C19 or C13 within the SOG, it is recommended to split the loads between the three SOGs to avoid  specific SOG breaker trip due to overload

It is illustrated in attachment that ampere related to the entire  SOG and each of SOG is protected by circuit breaker rating that represent the maximum ampere value for each group

Regards,

Karim
