SNMP scripts
The main reason for this User Group forum to exist is for APC InfraStruXure data center users to exchange helpful information to each other. Tips on how to implement PCNS on a temperature event, or a "third party" generator failure to start, and other things. I have seen some really cool stuff walking through computer rooms, and innovative ways ISX users have implemented http post output to an internal webpage for example, so every lab user could see infrastructure reports in real time. If you have any of these tips and tricks that you have figured out, post them here!
One thing I get asked for alot are SNMP scripts for controlling APC managed devices. One of my friends sent these to me, so I am uploading them here.
Attached are some simple scripts which return environment and load values from APC UPS and EMU devices. You can use them as examples or integrate into your management platform.
