The battery cartridge is hot swappable so no need to power down or disconnect any loads.
Remove the six retaining screws from the front case. Disconnect the battery cable and remove old battery cartridge.
Insert the new battery cartridge and reinstall the six screws. Reattach the battery cable and wait for the system to prompt you to indicate if this is a new battery cartridge.
Toggle from No to Yes and enter the month and year than hit save. Wait for the system to indicate the battery is 100% SOC (State of Charge).
Once it indicates 100% SOC manually initiate a Self Test either through the LCD / NMC.
Let it complete, pass, and battery cartridge return to 100% SOC. Manually initiate a battery calibration with at least 30% attached load and let the process complete.
Doing this step is critical to allow the system to know and display the correct operational runtime.
Lastly, mark the battery installation date physically on the cartridge with a sticker / sharpie.
