SMT1500IC vs SMT1500I Fan operation
Hello all,
I have a SMT1500IC, replacing a SMT1500I. I noticed the SMT1500IC battery get fairly warm under normal use with the fan off 35° at 22° room temperature. I also noticed, that the SMT1500I spun the fan slowly under normal use keeping the battery cool.
How can I activate the slow constand fan operation on the SMT1500IC, I found no reference in the manual.

The fan will come on during charging, inverting, and high internal temperature. There is no direct method to control the two fan speeds within the system by the user.
Depending upon firmware version on the UPS and PCSS software. See if there is a tab to adjust the high limit temperature values as seen in other systems.
NOTE: Do not adjust these values unless you fully understand the consequences of doing so! ☝️
