We would like to create a web based set of events such as forcing a reboot on 7000 based ip pdu's. Rather than providing user logons and teaching users how to navigate what is a fairly easy menu we have been asked to create a central site to perform the tasks for users.
Our typ device is running rpdu v3.9.2 under AOS 3.9.2
Our 1st thought was to use a rest interface if one exists for the device as a worst case we thought of telnet and canned commands. ANy thoughts???

Hi Dan,
There are a few ways to interface with the PDU's that might help you. Switched rPDU's have a scripting interface that can be used to push commands, more info here: https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156163/
rPDU's also support SNMP, so a web-based solution that would use SNMP OID's to set different values could also work.
