Hello
I'm trying to configure my powerchute to send emails via my SMTP provider server using TLS. No emails are sent.
My configuration is via port 587, and is the same config used in other services (server, ports, user, password...)
In my log (pcss.log) are these errors every time I try to send a message:
2023-05-05 10:30:16,268 [qtp1784748689-83] INFO - [DataModels.M11EventGenerator.()] sendTestEmail() - called

nested exception is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
I've tried other SMTP Servers from different providers. All of them failed.
The only way to send emails is via unencripted SMTP in port 25.
Please, check your code to enable TLS encription.
Thank you.

I tested TLS to port 587 with smtp-mail.outlook.com and the mail goes through without an issue.
I did a quick search and found
"Could not convert socket to TLS" errors, when configuring a connection with an SMTP server, can be caused when trying to connect to a non-SSL port or when the SSL certificate use by the SMTP server is not trusted.

It just doesn't work with any port 587 or 25. Doesn't matter what I do. There is no server.crt to copy as it does not exist in Windows 10. I don't have problems with other devices sending emails. Outlook uses Starttls and Port 587 not TLS and this is the standard for Outlook.
