Powerchute Network problem on NMC registration

Hi,

I have a Smart UPS C1500IC (SmartConnect). I wanted to test PowerChute during a DRP/BCP test. So, I connected the UPS via ethernet (it gets an IP address) and installed PowerChute on a VM. It connects properly to vCenter, and then it asks for a username/password/authentication phrase. I'm not sure if this corresponds to something existing, so I just enter anything. Then, it asks for the IP of the UPS, which I provide. But it says, 'Error registering with the Network Management Card(s).' without any log. What should I do to make it work?

The default username and password is all lowercase: apc
