Possible problem with Windows 10 and PowerChute Personal
Hi guys,
I have a Backup UPS 700 which has been running quite nicely on an old Windows 2012 server but it recently got moved to a new desktop I was building.
After a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro Build 1511, with only the basic drivers and patches from Microsoft, I hit a snag: after loading PowerChute Personal 3.02 the following things stopped working:
Event Log stopped logging events and failed to open any previous logs
System Protection stopped working
File History stopped working
I would guess this is all related to the Volume Shadow Copy service in some way. I tried reloading Windows 3 or 4 times and the above problems are reproduced after loading PowerChute and rebooting.
Maybe something to do with Build 1511 or a recent patch?
