Hello Christian
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from the above provided description, I understand that you wish to connect 2 PDUs AP8659EU3 via the Network Port Sharing (NPS) in a Host and Guest environment. If I have understood correct, then please ensure that you have the latest PDU Firmware Revision 6.4.0. See following web link to download the latest firmware.
The latest firmware upgrades the "AOS" to version 6.4.0 and the "rpdu2g" to version 6.4.0.
Please see the following FAQ on how to download/install/upgrade the firmware on your PDU. See the section "Firmware executable - Network Management Card 1 and 2". NOTE: Your PDU contains the Network Management Card (NMC) version 2.

Please also see the following FAQ on "Rack PDU 2G (AP8XXX) Network Port Sharing Information". This explains on how to setup the PDU for Network Port Sharing (NPS) to be used in a Host and Guest environment.
