When I turn my Back-UPS 325 on after a power outage; a LOUD, constant beep starts and keeps on sounding, even after 2 minutes! Is there a reason why this is happening, and is there a way to stop this?
Plus, does anyone have some MS Windows software for a Back-UPS 325?
If you can't post the answer on this site, email me at [jon_riley_2001@yahoo.com].

Greetings!
If the UPS continues to provide output power from its battery back-up outlets during this constant tone, then the UPS is indicating that the internal battery requires replacement. If the UPS cuts power from its battery back-up outlets while this tone is heard, then it is being overloaded (this UPS' capacity is only 185W).
Would you mind confirming which APC product you have by providing us with the model and serial number found on the white barcode sticker on the bottom of this UPS? It's likely the UPS is 3 or more years old and the battery simply needs to be replaced.
As far as software, if you have a Back-UPS ES 325, there is no software available since the UPS has no communications port.
Thanks.
