NMC3 not reachable after firmware upgrade

Unit SMT 1500VA with NMC3 card, i tried performing upgrade from UPS 03.5 to 15.5 via web intergaface of NMC3.

The open broswer window of firmware upload was open a long time and then i realized that the unit was not reachable anymore, no ping no reply via web interface.

The unit display shows normal information, status led on the back of NMC3 shows green blinking that means: The NMC does not have valid TCP/IP settings.

Before doing something that will brick the unit, what is the best way to restore functionality? I did not perform any reboot of the unit yet.

I was able to fix this; using USB cable i could connect to the console port and the CLI interface was working, IPV4 status was N4- and forcing boot with DHCP and resetting the NMC3 interface solved my issue.

Now if everyone can point me in the safe and correct direction to update both UPS and NMC3 interface i would be more than happy!

What is the model of the NMC (AP9630 AP931 AP9640 ECT)?

For the UPS typically there is no need to update the firmware on that unless it is giving you issues.
