Measuring individual outlet loads on AP7922

Is it possible to get the individual outlet loads on AP7922 models? Getting the bank load is pretty simple via either the Web UI or SNMP:
bq. PowerNet-MIB::rPDULoadStatusLoad.1 = Gauge32: 48 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDULoadStatusLoad.2 = Gauge32: 29 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDULoadStatusLoad.3 = Gauge32: 23
However, the PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.* OIDs on SNMP all return zero, regardless of what load is pulled on each outlet:

bq. PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.1 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.2 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.3 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.4 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.5 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.6 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.7 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.8 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.9 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.10 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.11 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.12 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.13 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.14 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.15 = Gauge32: 0 \\ PowerNet-MIB::rPDUOutletStatusLoad.16 = Gauge32: 0

Hello,

Individual outlet monitoring is not possible on APC's current switched rack pdu's (AP79xx). To get this functionality it would be necessary to put a clamp meter on every outlet. Currently we clamp the bank (or phase) depending on model. So it is a physical impossibility, not a MIB or firmware issue. The MIB has these OID's for future hardware development opportunities.

Doesn't really answer the question. I know what rPDULoadStatusLoad is and what it means. What I'm trying to do is measure the load on each individual outlet, not the per-bank load. Can this even be done on an AP7922. If not, what PDU models support this?

oh, sorry. basically that shows you the information you will get. i dont believe its possible to measure the load on each particular outlet, only by bank. if you were able to, i believe it'd be an option in the web/telnet interfaces as well and it is not. i dont believe we make any single phase PDUs that do that unfortunately :-(. don't think there are any three phase ones either but i am not too familar with them.

Unfortunately, APC does not make a rack PDU that measures the load for each individual outlet. Only per power strip.

Well, that sucks, no doubt about it. Why bother having a MIB entry for individual PDU outlet loads if none of your products actually support it?
