Hi, I have a question regarding the positioning of a masterswitch within a cabinet as I'm unsure what the best option is and thought I'd see what other people prefer...
I have a number of masterswitches which can be mounted at the front/back of the cabinet either front or rear facing although I'm not sure which is the best, the options seem to be:
- Front/rear of cabinet with indicators outward facing - this option lets me easily see the state of the switch and access the control ports, but places the power connectors inside the rack. This makes it trickier to change the power leads, etc
- Rear of the cabinet with the indicators inward facing - this option provides easy access to the power connections at the expense of not being able to easily see the state of the switch.
I'm swinging towards the latter as I can see the state remotely if needed...
any thoughts?
thanks

yes, that was my thinking, although slightly annoying is that the non-power connections are at the rear..
