Hi,
I have 2 UPS's on different systems that stoped sending the notification e-mails. We are using shaw to relay the e-maisl on por 25, when I telnet from both servers to the SMTP mail server I can connect just fine. I checked the debug.txt and it generate this log when trying to send emails:
Thu May 07 15:08:48 PDT 2015: [SMTPMailWorker.transmitMailMessage()]- Send Mail Failed: javax.mail.MessagingException: [EOF]
Thu May 07 15:08:48 PDT 2015: [SMTPMailWorker.makeTestMessage()]- Failed to send test email message.

Hi,
What is being listed in smtp e-mail server log. That should indicate if the test mail is being received and if it is why it is failing.

Can you please clarify what UPS and APC Software you're using? Is this PowerChute Business Edition you're referring to? I am not familiar with Shaw - can you share what version of that you're using? What email service are you using (gmail, etc)?

Hi Angela,
I'm using PowerChute Bussiness Edition. I use Shaw as my smtp email server to relay the emails.
