MGE Galaxy 5000 UPS some question
Dear all,
Recent this time I got some issue with customer, they ask about G5000 specficication
1. Output power factor:
Last time I run some G5000 with pf 0.8 (meaning 30kVA will have 24kW) but recent information they said pf 0.9 but don't have any improvment yet
2. Input AC normal Frequency 50Hz +/-5% or 50Hz +/5Hz ?. Website and brochure is 5%, some 8% and usermanual 45 - 65Hz and bid spec is 8%.
My comment : if there's 8% ,it's so small and can make UPS run under battery mode.
3. Overload & short cicuit ccapacity of G5000
Static bypass : 110% continuious, 220% in 1 second.
Inverter : 220% in 1 s.
Some document with over load curve say 220% only 100ms (0.1s). - User manual
Some brochure claim they can meet 270% during 150ms (bid spec). - Old brochure and bid spec.
4. Output voltage variation when load step change 100%
Some said it's +/-2% max and will stable +/-1% within 200ms. Some said up to 5% with load step.
5. Online Efficiency
Some said up to 94% since this is the Green UPS, and MGE still said "a huge saving" compare to traditional.
Some said (in Website, new brochure 88% - 93%, with average 91% EF.
I want to check which will be correct ? there are any type test record for this.
