Hi,
I own two SMT1500C units, which are both registered and connected online 24/7.
The first SMT1500C is from 2021 and reports a firmware version of: v 04.6 (1015).
The second SMT1500C from 2023 and reports a firmware version of: v 06.0 (1027).
Both units report "Your firmware is up to date with the latest version." which doesn't make much sense since the firmware versions are different.
What's going on here?

The latest firmware is available in Schneider Electric FAQ FA279197
For 1015 the version is 15.5
For 1027 the version is 16.5
You can download both from the FAQ listed above.
The last updated to the FAQ was 7 April 2023
The SmartConnect and Ecostruxure teams are aware and will update the systems in the future.

The difference is the hardware revision and the number indicate the revision.
As for the firmware, the team is working on pushing the firmware to the portal. You should start seeing notifications soon that updated firmware is available.

Thanks for the explanation - that helps.
Can you give us a better idea of when "soon" might be? 😁 One of my units I'll need to disconnect from the Internet in a week or so and I'd really like to get it updated. Manually updating the firmware isn't an option right now - that's one of the reasons why I bought the SMT1500C model.

The availability to update the firmware is being rolled out in waves and is ongoing. I do not have a timeframe for specific UPSs / accounts.

Sorry for bumping this post from ~5mo ago, but I still have one SMT-1500C (1027) that is on "06.0" firmware, and SmartConnect does not offer up the latest "16.5" version. Sorry for the ping, but @BillP do you know if this rollout is STILL ongoing?
Is there any way to force SmartConnect to "check again" or perhaps just "force upgrade"?
Unfortunately, I tossed the USB cable that came with the UPS because I assumed I could do everything from the SmartConnect interface, and the APC knowledge base recommends doing all firmware updates from SmartConnect if it's available for my model.... 😞
