Anyone know/hear if APC is going to be releasing a new version of the RT line soon? I need one, but figured since most of the APC products have been turning over lately (LCD screens, etc.), maybe the RT line will be getting a refresh soon?

Angela,
What will the 2G have over the 1G? We have identified serious issues with the 600 (and increasing) or so 1G versions we own that are costing us in a tangible and intangible way. You seem to have more intimate knowledge than we have been unable to access directly. I really need your help. need to How do we get to actual software and hardware engineering support and not Sales Engineers? .

What kind of issues? I've never been thrilled with the APC units, but they seem to be the best out there for the SMB market. I can't imagine managing 600 of these though - I'd pull my hair out.
I have an SUA1500 I have to replace right now. It's older, but just last generation (Black in color) and we did a battery in it last year this time. Two nights ago, it (We assume) dropped the server twice, even though it never alerted or anything, and no other systems in the building went down. Last night it did it again, and NOW it's showing replace battery. When these things start getting flakey, which they always do after time, they really take a dump. Was hoping the RT line would be a bit better since there's no cutover between AC and battery.

yes, what types of issues? usually this type of thing could be routed through the sales team - meaning if you have a sales rep here at APC.
