OK so ignore the stupidity of what I've done here for just a moment... I've managed to upload Symmetra UPS firmware into an ISX PDU. AOS is running fine but the poor thing is just sitting there looking for its attached UPS 🙂
I can't seem to find the ISX PDU firmware anywhere on APC's site, anyone know where it is?
David

Is the offer for sending firmware still open?
I have a similar problem with an ISX PDU and the management card of another PDU won't allow me to download the firmware image so I can copy it to other devices.

SHaynes,
Grenade is no longer an active forum moderator.
In order to obtain that file, I would recommend contacting APC Three Phase Support. They'll be able to get the file out to you.

I can't find the model number on it or through ssh, I don't want to open it up. It's a full cabinet PDU with 48 breakers and a UPS bypass switch. It looks like this though I'm not sure if this is the right model: http://www.apcc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=PD40H5HK1%2DM
It's an "ISX PDU". The UPS it is attached to is a Symmetra 40k and it's 3-phase if that helps. I can't see any firmware downloads for any "Infrastruxure PDUs" on the site though.

Can you check the name of the firmware from the web interface. It should be under Help>About System if you are running an old version. There is an app and aos name and version. I suspect the app name will be xpdu, but please verify. Thanks

The appname is Smart-UPS because I uploaded UPS firmware into it 🙂
It should be xpdu, yes, but I can't seem to find any xpdu firmware.

We opened it up today and the network management card model number is probably one of these: AP 885-2288 or OM-5104.

I can get you a copy of the firmware, but I don't see any way to attach a file to private messages through the forum. If you want to send me a message with your e-mail address, I can get a copy out to you.
Thanks
