We have racked and been using 3 SMT3000s and 6 SMC1500s for a while now. I only had one of them registered in the APC Cloud Console. Now that I am trying to add the rest in, only 2 of the units have the bar code with the ID and product where I can see them on the front or back. I am assuming the others are on the sides and I really dont want to unrack everything to get both codes.
Is there a way to search the network and get the registration directly off the devices or just use the serial number which I do have on the back or front of most of them.

At a high level you’ll need to confirm every unit is Smart Connect capable. You can easily tell by the SKU which ends with a (C).
All Smart Connect enabled devices also have a green dedicated Smart Connect RJ45 Ethernet port. If that isn’t present the device isn’t Smart Connect capable.
You can obtain all the Smart Connect information via the LCD Menu too. Let me know if all of your systems meet this requirement.

Yes, they all do have the green RJ45 and we have plugged them into the switch above them in their respective racks.
