Galaxy vx modbus wiring
1.) I am trying to integrate the UPS into an JACE, and i'm having trouble getting the modbus to talk. just trying to verify the wiring. The wiring diagram is labeled TXD= 0/1/grd & RXD= 0/1/com, but the terminal block is labeled 123456. there is nothing that shows the actual relation between the 2. I can only assume the TXD is terminals 123 and RXD is 456. Can someone please relate the diagram to the terminal block numbers?
2.) What is the Com wire for? The rs-485 port on the JACE only has a place for the positive, negative and the shield. I have delt with 3 wire bacnet systems, and i have dropped the com wire at the JACE and everything worked just fine.
3.) what does the flow control setting need to be for the Galaxy VX?
