Hi, I often get "UPS: Compensating for a low input voltage." type events via email.
How do I change the configuration of so that the email contains the details of the event, specifically what the low voltage was for what duration that caused the event?
E.g.
Log: 07/29/2016 20:03:38 Device UPS: Compensating for a low input voltage. 0x010B
Email: Warning - UPS: Compensating for a low input voltage.
Data: 07/29/2016 20:02:20 108.69 112.28 109.19 3.13 28.12 24.00 59.99 100.00 54.09 31.67 35.0
I would like to see the data details, i.e. the 108.96V input to be in the log and email body.
I am using a Smart-UPS X 1500 with a AP9631 network card.
Thanks

Hi Pieter,
First off, my apologies no one posted earlier. Unfortunately, this isn't an option strictly speaking in the email alerts. However, I'm thinking there may be a way for you to get notified of this if you use SNMP and have a way to set this up on your end. You could get a snmp trap for the same alert - compensating for low input voltage - and have some way of a script getting the input voltage at that time via SNMP (I can look up that OID if you need, but it would be in our standard MIB file). I believe there are some SNMP clients can email you as well, but this whole process may require some coding and time on your end. Hopefully someone else can chime in if they know of a better way to do this, since we don't have an easy way on our end.
Sorry there isn't an straightforward solution, but let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
Tommy
