Critical - UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage.
I know there have been some similar posts regarding this warning/error, but I haven't seen anything that is similar to our scenario.
We have two Smart-UPS SRT 3000 units installed at one of our plants. These units have been working perfectly. Recently we have installed a piece of equipment in the plant that has a large electric motor with a VFD (variable frequency drive). Whenever that unit is powered up we immediately start receiving the error "Critical - UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage." and then anywhere from 4 to 40 seconds later the UPS resumes normal operation. We have had the equipment mfg., electricians, and everyone in between out at the plant trying to figure out what's causing this and how to solve the problem.
When the new equipment isn't running everything looks great!
Does anyone here have any suggestions? We have other VFDs on other equipment and we've never had an issue before.
