I would like to know if I can use the supplied USB connectors to connect to a server I have loaded Server, Console and Agent on. I would like to be able to monitor the UPS this way. Or, do I have to purchase the network module in order to have an IP as I don't see a way for the Powerchute Business Edition software to locate the two UPS without the IP...

Each installation of PowerChute Business Agent can only support one UPS for monitoring/graceful shutdown. You can install the PowerChute Business Edition Agent on two separate computers and connect one via USB to each UPS. Then, you can have the server and console components installed some place to monitor those two agents and gracefully shutdown each Agent independently.
You only need to pursue using the Network Management Card in each UPS if you are trying to set up a multiple UPS scenario in the sense of having servers with dual power supplies for redundancy and having each server only shutdown gracefully when both UPSs are on the verge of shutting down. If you do that, then you use PowerChute Network Shutdown software.
So I guess the answer is, it depends. Let me know if you need clarification.
