Hi,
I am writing to confirm how to figure out the issues related to communication between Rack switched PDU and ISX Central.
I had issues describing "the connection via FTP a device definition file failed" in my client site.
My client currently has about 3 rack-mountable PDU (Part num: AP7953, AP7921 - version 3.3.3 and 3.5.6), 44 rack-mountable PDU (Part num: AP7953, AP7921- version 3.7.0), and a ISX Central standard (version 5.0.0).
The communication between 3 Rack PDU showing version is 3.3.3 or 3.5.6 and ISXC is working fine, but the issues are generated as described above when ISXC tries to communicate with 44 rack PDU representing version is the lastest (ver3.7.0).
I've tested myself in my office in connection with this kind of communication. When I tested them, slightly differences are that version of my ISXC is 6.0.0 and the version of Rack PDU is same as mentioned above. The result is that I didn't see any issues once I've done this.
I am wondering if these issues are generated due to the different version of PDU installed or wrong configuration performed.
I also attached a file showing this issue.
I really appreciate if you get the solution for me.
Thank you.
