Hello...
We have a mixture of SmartUPS 2200(firmware version 3.58) and SmartUPS 700(FW version 3.2.6)at our different sites. I am in the process of configuring them to send traps to the NMS. I have succeffully received traps from some of these devices for issues like losing power, Passing diagnostic test etc. Recently we had an issue at a site where the UPS was emailing us about an event "UPS: A site wiring fault exists" but we didn't receive a trap for this. After this as part of troubleshooting, I was able to successfully sent test traps and we were also able to see traffic from the UPS regarding the power being down and other events using our sniffer device but none for this specifc trap. If the UPS is configured to sent a trap for this event to the NMS, not sure why it isn't sending this trap . Anyone having/had a simlar issue? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks...

Posting this incase someone else come across a simiar situation...I got an answer from APC. They is what they say "the site wiring fault event is not one that the UPS can send as a trap. I walked the MIB and site wiring fault is not an event that will allow you to send a trap or perform a get on".
