CNC Options Using Schneider Electric?

I’ve got a machine with 7 Lexium32 drives with Ethercat modules. Three of those axes need to be selectable from the PLC as independent or interpolated.

The current PLC installed is giving me fits and I am to the point of replacing it for something I can get support for. Long story.

Does Schneider Electric have a PLC/CNC controller that would interface easily with my drives? I’m not stuck with Ethercat, that’s just how the machine came. Just looking for options.

You can use the TM262M25MESS8T which controls up to 8 Sercos axes.
You must be using the LXM32M. You can convert it to Sercos and use the VW3M3619.

I am attaching an application note that has the example.

For the next machines you can buy the LXM32S which already comes with Sercos communication.

Yes, Schneider Electric does offer this PLC/CNC controllers that can interface with Ethercat drives. The Lexium32i programmable motion controller is one example of such a controller. To ensure a smooth transition, I recommend seeking out the assistance of Want.net CNC Machine Service. With their expertise, you can rest assured that your new controller will be properly programmed and integrated with your existing drives.
