I just purchased the pro gaming UPS (model BGM1500B+US) from Dell. I connected the battery, at that time I did see a small spark when the terminals connected.... Anyway I plugged it in, plugged in the computer and when I powered on the APC I got an f02 error.. I tried different things such as unplugging everything but even when I unplug everything, unplug the battery, hold the power button down for 5 seconds plug the battery back in plug the device in the wall and turn it on without anything else connected to it I still get an f02 error. (Did that twice)

You should return the device back to Dell as the F02 indicates a output short. Normally this means whatever is connected is shorted inside.
Given you stated there was nothing connected to the outputs later on but the code still remains.
This indicates the unit is faulty.
Let us know how everything turns out in the end. 👍

Thank you for your reply. I will return it and get another one. Hopefully that one does better. It seems like it would be a nice unit, if it worked.
